Police in Tampa, Florida, have nabbed a 22-year-old American woman who allegedly posed as a home-schooled student to maintain relationships with minors.
Alyssa Zinger was arrested Nov. 24 after authorities were notified of an inappropriate relationship she was having with a boy between the ages of 12 and 15.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the suspect contacted her victim through social media by posing as a homeschooled student. The investigation suggests that Zinger may have caused additional casualties.
“It is disturbing to see an adult prey on and take advantage of a child,” said Chief Lee Bercaw, urging anyone who may have been a victim of such a scheme to file a complaint. “The Tampa Police Department will support you and ensure that a predator like Zinger does not attack you […] additional damage.”

The 22-year-old is accused of lewd or lascivious violence and lewd or lascivious assault on a victim between the ages of 12 and 15.
