O French President Emmanuel MacronHe took to social media to show his solidarity and condolences A German tourist was killed and two others were injured in the attack on Saturday evening (2) around the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
“I express my condolences to the family and relatives of the German citizen who died in the terrorist attack in Paris and my solidarity to those currently injured who remain in care,” Macron wrote on X (formerly Twitter ).
The president also highlighted the security forces’ involvement in the quick arrest of Armand RajabpourMiyandoab, a Frenchborn Islamic radical. He reportedly shouted “Allah is great” before his arrest.
“The National AntiTerrorism Prosecutor’s Office will be responsible for resolving this matter so that justice can be served on behalf of the French people,” Macron added in his release.
