Havana, December 3 (RHC) The Palestinian Foreign Ministry claimed this Sunday in Ramallah that Israel is carrying out ethnic cleansing and genocide in the occupied territories as part of its colonization strategy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned in a statement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempt to create a political, economic and social divide between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in order to jeopardize the possibility of realizing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its state undermined capital.
Likewise, he held Netanyahu and his far-right partners in power fully and directly responsible “for their ongoing bloody aggression against our people and the ongoing crimes of settler militias against Palestinian citizens,” he stressed.
The organization renewed its call for the world to stop aggression against the Gaza Strip, where more than 15,000 people have been killed and another 37,000 injured since October 7.
He noted that the violations against the Jewish settlers were part of a plan to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian presence in Jerusalem and other areas of the West Bank, “devoting them exclusively to the benefit of the colonial and racist expansion of the settlements.”
The Foreign Ministry criticized the support for the settlers and the right-wing positions of Israeli ministers such as National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. (Source: Prensa Latina)
