Jane Fonda Makes Outrageous Confession About Why She Only Wants A Younger Lover

Jane Fonda was brutally honest when explaining why she has no interest in dating someone old enough to drink.

The Hollywood legend said she basically retreated from the bedroom during an appearance on the Absolutely Not podcast, which came out last month.

“I’m done, I’m over, I’m 86 years old, even in the dark I don’t want to be naked in front of anyone,” she laughed to the host, comedian Heather McMahan.

Fonda, who actually turns 86 on December 21, later added: “And one more thing, I’m ashamed to say this: If I were to take a lover, he would have to be 20.”

Her reason: “Because I don’t like old skin.”

Jane Fonda, here at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, was ashamed to admit that if she ever dated again, she would only take a much, much younger lover.

“And that’s why I don’t want to force this on anyone else,” the “Barbarella” star continued. “I assume other people are like me, I just don’t like old skin.”

While Fonda joked about dating someone decades younger, she said she would feel like a hypocrite if she actually slept with someone in her 20s.

“I disapprove of 86-year-old men with 20-year-old women, so I won’t repeat it,” she explained. “I can stare, and I can’t pretend it doesn’t turn me on when I see a certain type of person, but no, no, no, I don’t want to force that on anyone.”

Fonda was married three times. She was married to the director Roger Vadim from 1965 to 1973 and to the activist Tom Hayden from 1973 to 1990. She married CNN founder Ted Turner in 1991 and they divorced in 2001.
