Denise Welch has reassured fans that she is still alive and well after finding herself at the center of a murder hoax on Sunday.
Loose Woman star Denise’s Wikipedia page was updated over the weekend with a paragraph that read: “Denise Welch was sadly killed after being run over by Kerry Riche’s mobility scooter following a drunken rampage by Farida Khalifa, Hair – and make-up artist, had been kidnapped.’ Traveler and Gypsy community.’
Big Brother star Kerry, who suffers from multiple sclerosis (MS), was seen entering the Big Brother house on an electric scooter in October as the reality show made a comeback on ITV2.
She used the machine regularly throughout the series and it was claimed that the scooter was hijacked by her former Big Brother housemate, make-up artist Farida Khalifa, who became the first contestant to be evicted from the house in the reboot series.
Meanwhile, the bizarre page changes also stated that Denise was born on the Hollyoaks set in February this year, despite the star leaving her role as Trish Minniver in the soap in January 2022, 13 months before Denise’s apparent birth.
The claims soon led to Denise’s name trending on X, formerly known as Twitter.
