The Quebec Remparts lost to the Drummondville Voltigeurs 10-3 on Sunday at the Marcel Dionne Center.
The second third turned into a real nightmare for Eric Veilleux’s men. In fact, the Voltigeurs scored six goals and took a 9-1 lead after 40 minutes of play.

With 11:43 minutes left in the second period, Tampa Bay Lightning junior Ethan Gauthier completed his hat trick. He flashed the red light twice in the first half.
The 18-year-old forward added two assists and finished his night of work with five points and a +4 lead.
Tyler Peddle, Loic Goyette and Drew Elliott also provided local favorites. Lukas Landry and Sam Oliver shot the puck into the Quebec team’s goal twice.
Veilleux changed goalkeeper twice. Louis-Antoine Denault started the game in goal for the Remparts, but had to give way to Quentin Miller after he allowed three goals on 11 shots midway through the first period. First City regained its spot with 2 minutes, 42 seconds left in the second period after Miller conceded six goals on 23 shots in 25 minutes, 32 seconds of ice time.
Daniel Agostino, Antoine Dorion and Pier-Étienne Cloutier responded on the Quebec side.
Defender Simon Maltais finished the game with a margin of -5.
The Remparts will face the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Dec. 6 at the Videotron Center.
