For the second time in as many days, the Chicago Blackhawks lost, this time to the Minnesota Wild by a score of 4-1, on Sunday at the Xcel Energy Center.

Marc-André Fleury, in net for the Wild, celebrated his 548th career victory. He is just three wins away from tying Patrick Roy for second place in National Hockey League history for the number of wins by a goaltender.

The Quebecer made 27 saves on 28 shots against the Hawks.

It was young forward Marco Rossi who scored the winning goal for the Wild, hitting the net with a one-timer from the slot on the power play in the first period. This goal, which was his second of the game, is his eighth of the season.

Matt Boldy, who had problems since the start of the season, also got a red light in his second outing. Mats Zuccarello was the Minnesota team’s other goalscorer.

Since the arrival of John Hynes on the bench, Kirill Kaprizov’s teammates have still not lost three games. They have only conceded three goals in this sequence.

The only good news for the Blackhawks is that Connor Bedard picked up a new point, with the latter contributing to Taylor Raddysh’s third-period success.

The Wild will look to pick up their fourth straight win against the Flames on Tuesday in Calgary. The Blackhawks, meanwhile, host the Nashville Predators on the same day.
