Eric Clapton announces three performances in Brazil; See where to buy tickets

The musician Eric Clapton announced this Monday (4) that he will perform a series of shows in Brazil in 2024. The performances will take place in September in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba.

Ticket sales begin on December 13th, and advance sales are scheduled for December 11th for Santander card customers.

Clapton included the country on the tour celebrating his 60th anniversary. The musician begins his global concert series on May 9 in England, including a performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

In Brazil, the guitarist’s performances will take place on September 24th at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba; September 26th at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro; and on September 29th at Allianz Parque de São Paulo. An opening show by guitarist Gary Clark Jr. is planned.

This will be Eric Clapton’s first performance in the country in the last decade. He visited the country in 2011, performing in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Porto Alegre. He previously performed in 1990 and 2001.

In São Paulo, tickets are sold from R$430, with the possibility of half price. The entry price for the route is R$620, while the price for the premium route is R$1,200.

Both general sales and presales begin at 10 a.m. on December 13th and 11th, respectively. Purchase can be made on the Live Pass website.
