Sam is a Paris-based consultant who also serves as creative director for menswear brand Noon Goons.
Laura announced she will marry Sam in Paris in the summer of 2022 following a “simple” romantic proposal.
The actress told Cosmopolitan she is “very excited” about her upcoming wedding and shared some details surrounding the big day.
She said: “It was really easy and sweet in Paris.” I never wanted one of those big, flashy public engagements. That’s just not my personality.
“The cliche: When you know, you know.” I never really believed it until this happened to me. “It’s a strange feeling when you just find peace and quiet.”
Laura and Sam confirmed their romance in July 2021 when they were seen kissing while vacationing in Monaco, France, following her split from NBA star Klay Thompson.
Sam has stayed away from Laura’s social media and has kept their relationship largely private.
The annual Academy Museum Gala was launched in 2021 and aims to raise funds for the museum’s exhibitions and public programming.

The event always attracts a red carpet so star-studded it rivals the Academy Awards themselves, and the opening gala raised a whopping $11 million for the museum.
The glamorous soirée also honored several stars, including Meryl Streep, who accepted the Icon Award, which honors an artist whose career has had a significant impact on global culture.
Michael B. Jordan received the Vantage Award, which honors an emerging artist or scholar who helps contextualize and challenge dominant narratives surrounding cinema.
Oprah Winfrey received the Pillar Award, which recognizes exemplary leadership and support for the Academy Museum.
Sofia Coppola was honored with the Visionary Award, which recognizes an artist or scientist whose innovations have advanced the art of cinema.
“We are pleased to come together again for our third annual Academy Museum Gala to celebrate the power, global impact and indelible significance of cinema,” Jacqueline Stewart, director and president of the Academy Museum, said in a statement earlier this year.
“It is my great honor to recognize four artists: Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey and Sofia Coppola, whose creativity and passion have inspired and shaped our culture in such powerful ways.”
The event was originally scheduled to take place in October but was postponed following the Hamas attack on Israel.
There were concerns that the Hollywood strikes would also impact the event, but these were dropped earlier this year.
The Hollywood actors’ strike finally came to an end last month after 118 days, ending the longest strike by any film and television actor.
A month before the end of the writers’ strike, they celebrated a new deal with a five percent raise, streaming bonuses and protection from AI.
