Jeannie May says she was caught off guard My goodnessShe’s filing for divorce – claiming she heard about their split through the media… this, of course, after recently suggesting he may have been unfaithful.
The actress appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday and was immediately asked how her personal life was going. Of course, Jen was referring to her divorce from Jeezy – which has been making headlines lately.
Check out her response for yourself… JM says she’s better now, but notes that she was “disappointed” when she first heard Jeezy wanted it end their marriage – something she supposedly first got wind of through press reports.
With that in mind, Jeannie says she’s now focused on being there for her young daughter. Monaco, which she shares with Jeezy… and whom they welcomed into the world last year. She will make sure her daughter has time with her father during the holidays to get to know both sides of their family.
Jeannie also says that while she has been more broken this year than ever before, in the same breath she has also discovered that she is incredibly strong.
No word on what she hinted at in her court documents last week – namely that Jeezy may have broken her marriage is said to have cheated on her …something Jeezy has since denied through his representatives.
There has been speculation that Jeannie herself may have cheated too – but we’re told she strongly denies it. Funnily enough, Jeezy himself recently addressed the topic of infidelity… tellingly Nia Long that real guys don’t cheat on their girls.
