In the final moments of the fight, the two pugilists clung to each other in exhaustion and were separated by the referee. Grigely then punched Hossa before the officer gave the green light and also spat his face mask in his direction. At this point the referee decided to disqualify him.

“No matter how the fight ended, I was already a winner when I got into the ring,” Hossa told sport.sk after the duel.

The one who wore the colors of CH from 2001 to 2004 started boxing about three months ago with his brother Marian. Marian Gaborik, another National League veteran, was also there to support his friend during the fight, while Jaromir Jagr posted an encouraging video on social media.
