Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Foreign Minister of Cuba, welcomed this Monday the establishment in Mexico of the Vth Cycle of the Peace Dialogue Table between the Government of Colombia and the National Liberation Army (ELN).

As reported by the High Commissioner for Peace in the same social network, in this new cycle they will continue to be accompanied by representatives of the governments of Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Norway and Venezuela as guarantors and as constant companions of the representative Special Edition of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Colombia and the Episcopal Conference of Colombia.
In the statement, Mexico reaffirmed its enduring commitment to the peaceful resolution of controversies and the promotion of peace and security in Latin America, as well as its firm and unequivocal support for the peace process in Colombia.
In September, the Colombian Government and ELN delegations concluded the fourth cycle of the Peace Dialogue Table in Caracas, Venezuela.
