She may not be American, but she was still able to celebrate one of the United States’ national holidays last month.
Millie Bobby Brown shared that she spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her fiancé Jake Bongiovi last month while speaking to People.
The 19-year-old Stranger Things star, who wore a “J” necklace for his 21-year-old fiancé in a recent social media post, revealed that she and Jake were spending the holidays with his parents, rocker Jon Bon Jovi, celebrated his wife Dorothea Hurley, both 61.
“Obviously I’m British so I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but of course Jake’s family are American so they were able to show me what a real American Thanksgiving looks like,” she said.
It seemed to have been a success for Millie and Jake’s family as “Jake’s mother’s cooking was fantastic.”

The “Enola Holmes” star kindly added that she “had a really great Thanksgiving.” [with a] wonderful family.’
In addition to Jake, Jon and Dorothea share three other adult children: Stephanie, 30; Jesse, 28; and Romeo, 19.
Millie also participated in the Thanksgiving dinner presentation, the turkey.
The bird confuses many home cooks every year as they try to keep the white meat from drying out without leaving the dark meat undercooked, but Dorothea seemed to have gotten the equation just right.
“I really went into it and thought, ‘The turkey of turkey, how good can it be?'” “But Jake’s mom made the best roast turkey,” Millie gushed, calling her bird a “pretty incredible” dish.
“I felt like I was fully living my all-American dream,” she added, channeling visions of Norman Rockwell paintings.
It appears she is celebrating Thanksgiving with Jake for the first time since her engagement in April.
Although she enjoys the new holiday, Millie makes it clear that Christmas is her favorite holiday.
“I feel like Christmas is my holiday.” “This is where I just thrive,” she said, then noted that she starts decorating before Halloween. “Jake is strongly against it, but who cares?”
The lovebirds were first linked in June 2021 when Jake shared a selfie of the two in a car and captioned it, “BFF <3."
“Of course I’m British so I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but of course Jake’s family are American so they were able to show me what a real American Thanksgiving looks like,” she said; seen on November 7th in NYC
Millie wasn’t looking forward to the turkey, but was pleasantly surprised. “I really went into it and thought, ‘The turkey of turkey, how good can it be?'” “But Jake’s mom made the best roast turkey,” she gushed, calling it a “pretty incredible” dish; seen together in September in NYC
Millie has said that she and Jake became friends on Instagram before they met in real life. They were first linked in June 2021 before going official on Instagram in November 2021. They announced their engagement in April of this year; seen in 2022
Millie is best known for her starring role in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things
They continued to appear playfully together on social media in the months that followed, but it wasn’t until November of that year that they posted a blurry photo of themselves embracing for a kiss to make the relationship official.
A year later, Millie revealed that the pair had started a virtual relationship before moving into the physical world after their first meeting on Instagram.
“We were friends for a while, and then what can I say?” she told Wired.
Millie then sparked engagement rumors in January this year when she described Jake as her “partner for life” in one of her Instagram posts. But it wasn’t until April that they announced their engagement and shared photos of the ring.
