A month after Matthew Perry’s death, Julia Roberts breaks her silence about the tragedy: “Heartbreaking.”

Julia Roberts spoke publicly about the death of her exboyfriend, actor Matthew Perry, who drowned in October under circumstances that are still unclear. The two had a brief romance in the 1990s after the star appeared in an episode of the sitcom Friends.
Julia mourned Matthew’s death in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “The sudden death of someone so young is heartbreaking. I think, you know, it helps us all appreciate what we have and move forward in a positive way as best we can,” he reflected.
Julia remembers her participation in “Friends” very positively. She was the star of a special episode aired in 1996 called “The One After the Super Bowl.” “They all welcomed me so warmly as kind of a unique character and it was a really fun moment,” the star said.
