Supporters of Nigel Farage have accused I’m A Celeb of giving him limited airtime – after the former UKIP leader was labeled the “least interesting housemate ever” despite earning £1.5 MILLION

Nigel Farage supporters took another swipe at ITV on Monday night as they claimed he was being given limited airtime on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The former UKIP leader has so far survived elimination at the expense of jockey Frankie Dettori and influencer Nella Rose, but his followers are wondering why he barely appeared in the latest episode of the hit show.

Farage, 59, who is said to be earning a record £1.5million for his appearance in the jungle camp, has already expressed his dismay at not being nominated for the Bushtucker Trials, which takes up an estimated 25% of the show’s airtime Make the show.

To make their point following Nella’s departure on the ex-politician’s official Twitter account, disgruntled friends shared a model of Farage as a wanted profile on BBC’s Crimewatch.

The accompanying caption read: “Apologies to all ITV viewers who blinked between 9pm and 10.20pm tonight. You probably missed Nigel.”

ITV producers had high hopes for Farage after agreeing a maximum fee with the GB News presenter, but sources claim they were unconvinced of his influence over the jungle camp.

An insider told The Mirror: “People I know who work on the show think Farage is one of the least interesting housemates ever.”

“He’s very boring and the producers struggled to show a different side of him with funny storylines.”

“He’s good for things like Brexit and the culture wars, but otherwise the local wildlife is more entertaining than him.”

“An example is that a few of them were talking about their favorite films, but he couldn’t think of a single one! Politics is his life and beyond that he basically has no personality.”

Farage’s reported fee is considered a show record, surpassing the £320,000 earned by former health secretary Matt Hancock in 2022.
