Trump overtakes Biden in 2024 US election polls

Currently, about 63% of U.S. adults agree that the Republican and Democratic parties are “doing such a poor job” of representing the American people that “a third major party is needed,” according to a recent Gallup poll. survey shows.
That represents a 7 percentage point increase from last year and is the highest since Gallup first asked the question in 2003.
Biden voters say their biggest motivation is stopping Trump
American voters inclined to vote for Democratic President Joe Biden in the 2024 election say they are more motivated to stop Donald Trump from returning to the presidency than to stop him, according to a Portal/Ipsos poll released Nov. 15 to support incumbents.
The poll showed a tight race between Biden and Trump, with Republican Trump leading 51% to 49%. Respondents had to choose between the two. The credibility interval of the survey is around four percentage points.
According to the poll, Biden supporters were more likely than Trump supporters to say they would vote to prevent their opponent from winning a possible indication of low enthusiasm for Biden as well as deep contempt for Trump among many Democrats.
About 50% of Biden supporters described their vote as “against Donald Trump and his policies,” compared to 38% who said they would vote “to support Joe Biden and his policies.” Twelve percent of Biden supporters said they were unsure which reason best explained their vote.
