Thieves entered a car dealership northwest of Toronto and dismantled $130,000 worth of tires and rims before dumping the vehicles on pieces of wood.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the theft, which occurred at a business in Wellington North, 130 kilometers from the Queen City.

The thieves broke into the property between Friday, December 1st and Monday, December 4th.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a white van who was in the area during the robbery.

The vehicles were parked on pieces of wood. Significant effort must be made to prepare these logs, estimates Joshua Cunningham, spokesman for the OPP. Authorities are asking the public for help in solving this theft.
