Troye Sivan has added another accolade to his post after being named GQ Man of the Year in Sydney on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old pop star couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he accepted the award from American actor Ross Lynch at the exclusive event at Bondi Pavilion.
The South African-born star cut a stunning figure in an all-white designer Prada outfit and showed his appreciation in a moving acceptance speech.
“Thank you everyone.” “The irony is not lost on me that I was named Man of the Year when I did drag for the first time this year,” he began.
“I feel more connected to my femininity than ever before. I think it speaks to a point I’d like to make, which is that my relationship with masculinity has been strange throughout my life.”

Troye Sivan opted to forego the black tie dress code in favor of embracing the beachside suburb vibe.
The Rush singer looked casually cool in a layered, all-white ensemble that consisted of loose-fitting shorts.
He completed his look with black headgear, kicks and socks.
In the meantime, there’s a glittering selection of who’s who – and who are you again? – slipped into their finest outfits and walked the red carpet to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the awards ceremony.
