Heather Rae El Moussa confirms she’s DONE with Selling Sunset as she notes she’s “no longer on the same show” as her co-star Bre Tiesi

Heather Rae El Moussa confirmed Wednesday that she will no longer appear on the TV show that made her famous, Selling Sunset.

However, this isn’t a huge surprise as the former Playboy Playmate, 36, had a smaller role in season seven and is yet to be credited for season eight of the popular Netflix series.

While sharing a photo with Selling Sunset co-star Bre Tiesi on Instagram, she mentioned that they were “no longer on the same show together.”

The full caption read: “The yin to my yang.” “Opposite in almost every way, but instantly became best friends – and even though we’re no longer on the same show together, our friendship is stronger than ever.”

In a second image, she shared a quote about moving in “opposite directions”: “True friendship is when two friends can go in opposite directions and still stay side by side,” it reads Quote.

It's the end of an era for Heather Rae El Moussa and Selling Sunset. She shared a photo of herself with Bre Tiesi and captioned it:

And Tiesi also commented on Heather’s absence from the show. In July, she said she was “devastated” about losing her role as a regular on the show.

“I absolutely adore Heather,” she told E! News. “I’m very sad to hear that she won’t have such a big role.”

The mother-of-one had a reduced role in the show’s seventh season, which she found “frustrating” earlier this year.

“Season 7 is currently filming, but I had finished my maternity leave and was looking forward to getting back to work, and so far I haven’t had a call back,” she told E! News.

“It was a little frustrating. So [I’m] “I’m not sure what’s going on,” she added after being asked how she felt.

Stepping back from Selling Sunset will allow her to focus on her family and on The Flipping El Moussas, the HGTV show in which she and her husband Tarek El Moussa, 42, star.

Heather also said that her priorities have changed since she and Tarek welcomed their son Tristan in January and that she is enjoying the reduced drama in her life.

“I love being able to prioritize my family and my happiness and step away from the drama that Selling Sunset brought into my life,” she told People last month.

“A lot of things happened that I prefer not to talk about, but overall I’m very happy with how my life is.”

Heather and her husband are putting all their creative energy into the second season of The Flipping El Moussas.

She commented on the drastic difference on the set of her new show compared to Selling Sunset.

“I can just film with my husband now, no drama,” she told People, adding with a laugh, “It’s so incredible that I don’t have to worry about arguing with a girl when I go to work.”
