“Annie proudly tells everyone that she’s the daughter of a market trader and chicken seller and is about as far from a shill as you can get – honestly it beats any storyline The Crown could dream up.”

“Annie and Andrew get on great – she often makes him laugh and he’s one of the few people who can get away with making fun of her.” She likes to joke that she’s a “new earner” – even though she’s dating When she went to boarding school, her father got a double first and she spent part of the summer at the Carlton in Cannes when she wasn’t working behind her mother’s stall.”

Both Anne and Andrew have been married twice.

Anne married the journalist Charles Wilson in 1968. In 1970 the couple had a daughter, Emma Wilson, who became a British radio disc jockey.

Andrew and Camilla divorced in 1995 and said in a statement: “Throughout our marriage we have always pursued rather different interests, but in recent years we have led completely separate lives.”

The following year he married his long-time lover, Rosemary Pitman. They were together until Rosemary died of cancer in 2010 at the age of 69.

At the time of her death, it was said that Camilla was “deeply saddened” by the news.

Andrew was a guest at Charles and Camilla’s wedding in April 2005 and attended their blessing service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Anne revealed back in 2017 that she gave up on the dating app Tinder an hour after getting it.

The former Weakest Link host complained that potential partners on the app offered “little choice,” adding that she didn’t want to date a “bald man with a moustache.”

Speaking about her brief stint on Tinder, she told The Sun: “I don’t want to date someone who’s bald and has a moustache.”

“The pickings out there are slim!” I would rename Tinder “desperate.” I have a specific pair of glasses, they are my red glasses and I can put them on.

‘I promise you. “You need red glasses to draw.”

Anne declared that she would settle for nothing less than a company boss.

The former Points Of View frontwoman also revealed that as an older woman, she advocates for a healthy appetite for sex.

The Sun reported at the time that she told them she hoped women her age were having sex – and revealed her “keep me young” bedroom antics.

“At the moment I don’t have a partner, I’ve had two husbands and they’re lovely.” “I’m a one-man committee,” she added.

Anne had her first foray into the world of online dating when she created a Tinder profile in the BBC documentary Britain’s Relationship Secrets on Monday night.

She was quick to reject anyone who showed an alcoholic drink in their profile photo, as Anne had a well-documented battle with alcohol and is now teetotal.

In a profile she said: “This is Gary, a freelance actor. I don’t think it would bring much income.”

However, she happily examined a gentleman who works in finance: “Quickly, I want to go back to the 60-year-old who has a job in banking.”

She added: “I just want a Tinder that’s aimed at CEOs and up.”

Anne is best known as the host of The Weakest Link, which she hosted from 2000 to 2017.

The presenter hosted Countdown for 13 months but resigned in July last year amid rumors of backstage drama.

It was claimed that the cast of Countdown were “relieved” that Anne had left after there were reports of an on-set feud with Rachel Riley – who Anne reportedly found “too loud” – and Susie Dent.

She said on Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything on Irish TV: “I tried to be nice on Countdown. “I loved it, but nothing was ever as wonderful as The Weakest Link or life as a newspaper journalist.

“I probably made a mistake thinking I could do it again on another game show.” [Countdown] “It’s a brilliant show but doesn’t really require a smart host.”

She added: “If you were quite obese, I would say, ‘What do you do when you don’t eat?’ ‘But you can’t do that anymore.’

The freelance presenter admitted that she did not want to be added to Channel 4’s payroll despite being offered a pay rise and therefore decided to quit her role as presenter.

Speaking to The Sun, she admitted: “I come from a long line of alcoholic Irish bandits. So when I suggest going on PAYE it’s a bit like asking Philip Green or Richard Branson to join the company payroll.”

“On this basis, I was not interested in any offer.” Even if it included financial parity. However, I will be giving up the Channel 4 meal vouchers, which I very much regret.’
