The One Show cast and crew were left in hysterics when presenter Alex Jones accidentally made a huge mistake on air.

The 46-year-old presenter was joined by actors Asa Butterfield and Daniel Mays as they appeared on the show on Wednesday night to chat about their upcoming film Your Christmas Or Mine 2.

But things got a little awkward when Alex mistakenly believed that 26-year-old Asa Butterfield would also be playing a role in the upcoming Chicken Run sequel, Dawn Of The Nugget.

After 23 years since the release of the original film, Chicken Run 2 will air on Netflix on December 15th.

Alex seemed excited as she pointed at Asa and shouted, “In the meantime, you’re on the new Chicken Run.”
