Kodak Black has found himself in further legal trouble in Florida, again involving his car and alleged drug possession.
The “Angel Pt. 1″ rapper – whose real name is Bill Kahan Kapri – was jailed in South Florida on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to four charges filed against him, according to online records from the Broward County Clerk of Court's office.
Following his arrest, Kapri was charged with improperly stopping or parking his vehicle, possession of cocaine and tampering with evidence. The rapper posted bail on Thursday and was released on Friday, according to clerks' files.
Kapri's attorney, Bradford M. Cohen, did not immediately respond to The Times' request for comment Friday.

The 26-year-old was arrested in South Florida last year on charges of trafficking oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was released on $75,000 bail and was required to undergo regular drug testing as a condition of his release.
In March, as he awaited trial in the drug trafficking case, a judge ordered him to undergo a month of rehab after he reportedly tested positive for fentanyl. His attorney told the Times in an email that Kapri “indeed agreed to enter, and the court agreed” and that he would begin his rehab stay after performing at the Rolling Loud music festival in California this month had played.
A warrant was issued for his arrest last June after authorities said he failed to show up for a drug test that month, the Associated Press reported. He was subsequently placed under house arrest in July after being pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol because his window tint was too dark. After allegedly smelling marijuana, police searched the SUV and found a bag containing 31 oxycodone pills and nearly $75,000 in cash. (Regular drug testing was part of the stay-at-home order.)
His lawyer told XXL magazine that the rapper's doctor prescribed oxycodone to manage his chronic pain after he died outside a party following a Justin Bieber concert during the 2022 Super Bowl weekend in Los Angeles foot was shot.

The “No Flockin” and “Tunnel Vision” rapper was famously released from federal prison by former President Trump, who in January 2021 commuted Kapri's 46-month sentence for lying on background check papers related to firearm purchases in 2019. Kapri served a separate prison sentence at the same time as he served a one-year sentence for weapons possession and served his sentence in a maximum security federal prison in Kentucky. These allegations stemmed from an arrest in mid-2019 at the Canadian border near Niagara Falls.
Trump's commutation noted that the rapper had paid for school notebooks for children, supplies for daycare centers and food for the hungry, and that he had also donated $50,000 to restaurants in his hometown of Pompano Beach, Florida.
In a song celebrating his release, the musician rapped: “Trump just freed me, but my favorite president is on the brink / All the hate and prejudice has become obvious to me.”
In April 2021, Kapri was sentenced to 18 months probation in South Carolina after pleading guilty to first-degree assault on a teenager. The girl said the rapper attacked her in a hotel room after the show, bit her in the neck and chest and continued even after she told him to stop, authorities said.
