Ary Fontoura criticizes Light after being without power for 24 hours at home in Rio de Janeiro

After spending more than 24 hours at home without electricity, actor Ary Fontoura took to social media to criticize Light, the company that handles energy in Rio de Janeiro, where he lives.

“In the 21st century, Rio de Janeiro shone like that? Honestly,” the 90yearold actor asked in a video posted to his Instagram this Saturday.

In the release, the actor says he called the company multiple times to try to resolve the issue. “Twentyfour hours without power, nonstop calls for you to come and make arrangements, not just for me, but for everyone on my street.”

Fontoura is active on social media and has 5.4 million followers on his Instagram profile, where he often shares his routine.
