MIAMI.- The money donated by Victor Rocha To Maria Elvira Salazar your campaign will be refunded by the Republican Congresswoman from Florida. Former Cuban regime spy Víctor Manuel Rocha, recently arrested in Miami, is said to have made two payments totaling $750 to Salazar's election campaign.
The US congresswoman will take steps to return the monetary donations of the former American diplomat who is accused of spying for the Cuban regime and was arrested in Miami last Friday.
As Diario de Cuba reported, when asked about Rocha's donation, a member of Salazar's campaign team informed Politico and The Washington Post that the Republican congresswoman from Florida “had no personal relationship with Rocha and planned to repay the donations.”

A spokesman for Salazar told Politico: “The congresswoman believes that Rocha should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and that he has completely betrayed the Miami exile community and the United States.”
Salazar, of Cuban origin, highlighted three years on his social media account.

The Republican congresswoman pushed to investigate and prosecute all spies to the fullest extent of the law, underscoring Miami's knowledge of the evilness of the Cuban regime.
According to digital media reports Key Biscayne Independent, Salazar would have received two donations from Rocha totaling $750 in 2022. Sergio R. Bustos, a journalist from the aforementioned media, added in his report that 73-year-old Rocha was arrested last week at his home in Miami on a criminal complaint and has close ties to Key Biscayne. He owned a condo at Commodore Club West that sold in 2015, Miami-Dade records show.
Víctor Manuel Rocha, of Colombian origin, was arrested in Miami after confessing his activities to an FBI agent posing as a Cuban spy.
Rocha is charged in a Miami court with 15 criminal counts, including spying for Havana and electronic fraud, according to the indictment filed by the U.S. justice system.
A grand jury returned the indictment and Rocha could be sentenced to a maximum of 60 years in prison if convicted.
