Married at First Sight British couple Erica Roberts and Jordan Gayle have opened up about their time on the reality TV show, calling several of their castmates fake.
The 25-year-old dance teacher and the 26-year-old personal trainer were paired on the E4 show and had a tumultuous journey after their subsequent appearance but stayed together and are still going strong.
However, in a new interview, the couple explained that other couples on the show had “fake” their relationships, with one even continuing to “fake” their romance.
Speaking to The Sun, Jordan said: “It was really frustrating watching it again because viewers couldn't even tell who the fake couples were – and they even admitted they weren't a real couple.”
The couple then revealed that they doubt the authenticity of couple Peggy Rose and Georges Bert – who claim they are still together – and have made an “agreement” to see each other.

However, in a new interview, the couple explained that other couples on the show had “fake” their relationships, with one even continuing to “fake” their romance.
Jordan explained: “I just don't think Peggy and Georges are a couple.” I didn't believe in them at the time, and I know I said before that the editing wasn't always what it seemed, but im In the case of Peggy and Georges it seemed correct.
“Most viewers didn't really understand them.” I don't understand how they always had a million problems as a couple, a million different problems, new problems every week, and were still happy enough to stay together.

Erica claimed that the couples were asked to give their opinions, but only hers and Jordan's were aired.

She said: “It was terrible at the time, it was terrible to deal with. I think when you're on a show like MAFS you never expect something like this to happen – honestly on any show or even just in normal life. Don't expect someone to knock on your door and try to fight you!
“That was really shocking for both of us, but the fact that we had each other in that moment, I would say that was one of the hardest parts for us as a couple, but the fact that we had each other made it so.” much better.'
Erica also revealed that the TV version resulted in viewers not being able to fully see what happened, saying Jordan didn't feel able to “fight back” in the scenes.

Erica also shared how she found it “difficult” to re-watch some of the series because of the lack of “context” due to the time constraints of each episode, meaning not every conversation was shown on screen.
She continued: “I would say there were quite a few things left unsaid in particular because I just think there's a lot of context in certain situations that gets overlooked in things.”
“There's obviously a lot more going on than what the viewer gets to see.” That's one of the hardest things I struggled with while watching because I thought, “Yeah, but there's so much context missing,” and it can Give people the wrong idea, but that’s just TV.”
Erica and Jordan overcame their trials on the show and are now still together. She stressed that they have gone from strength to strength and are enjoying being a normal couple off screen and are planning to move to Manchester together.
