Creed star Michael B. Jordan was left “embarrassed” after driving his $429,000 Ferrari into a parked car. Insiders claimed he accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake.

The 36-year-old actor was seen talking to police officers next to his wrecked car outside Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles, shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.

“It was an actual accident,” an insider told . “Michael was upset that he ruined his car, but it can be repaired.” He was and is embarrassed because he accidentally had his foot on the accelerator and didn't brake in time.

“One thing led to another and the parked car was where it was and all the puzzle pieces landed in an unfortunate way. “He's glad no one was hurt.”

The accident occurred a few days before he attended an event for Creed 3, which was released earlier this year.

“Michael appeared to be in great spirits and showed no injuries following his recent accident,” the source continued. “He didn’t feel any worse for wear and seemed to enjoy talking to all the people who were at the event.”

The LAPD found no signs that he was impaired by drugs or alcohol following the incident.

Footage from the scene of the accident showed that the blue Ferrari crashed into a parked car on the passenger side, triggering the airbags inside. A wheel had also rolled off the car.

An LA-OC.tv reporter said that when he tried to film the car and its occupants talking to police, Jordan's security guard “tried to chase me away.”

Police officers did not conduct a field sobriety test, the outlet said. No charges have been filed in connection with the case.

The LAPD and Jordan representatives were contacted for comment.

On August 11, Jordan ironically showcased his collaboration with Ferrari in an Instagram post – in which he wore the brand's clothing and was filmed driving in one of their red cars.

He was filmed speaking to representatives of the brand while wearing a personalized Ferrari helmet as he took to the track.

Last month, Jordan shared some relaxing photos from his trip to Japan in an Instagram post.

The actor shared pictures of himself meditating on a bridge and cooking a fiery dinner during the staycation.

The post came after new Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi claimed on the Netflix reality series that she and Jordan were close.

Chrishell Stausse asked her fellow real estate agents, 'In terms of celebrities, who would you sleep with?' Who would you choose?'

Amanza Smith named Jordan as her celebrity crush, before Tiesi added: “I could do that – and I did.”
