When surfing in Australia in December, your board and parasol are out. It's summer in Sydney, below 40°C. Due to global warming, oppressive temperatures are becoming more and more common. In Siberia, however, it is so cold that some cities seem deserted: -50°C. Winter is just beginning.
Extinction Rebellion in Venice
Chemical pollution, radioactive monster, don't worry: Venice (Italy) is simply the new communication channel for Extinction Rebellion, activities in which an environmentally friendly dye was poured into the water to denounce political inaction at COP 28. In Norway an athlete has just achieved a record: that of the highest death jump. He jumped from a height of 40 meters in free fall.
