According to the Valais police, the man, whose motives are not yet known, appeared to know his victims.
This Monday morning, a man who fired “several shots” at people in the small Swiss town of Sion on Monday killed two people and injured one.
He is currently still wanted by the Valais police, who launched a call for witnesses with photos and spoke of “a dangerous person” who should not be tried to “arrest or speak to him themselves”. The alleged man's name is Sébastien Robin and he was born in 1987.
“According to initial findings, the perpetrator knew his victims,” said an initial media release from the Valais cantonal police.
Anyone who can provide information about this person is asked to contact the Valais Canton Police Operations Center on 027 326 56 56.
