Big update from Jonathan Majors Assault trial… the driver of the SUV in which Majors and Grace Jabbari fought, took a stand and testified that he believed she had hit the movie star.

Jonathan is accused of beating Grace in the backseat as he tried to get his phone back after she thought she caught him texting another woman – but the driver's statement shows Grace was the attacker is and not the other way around.

The driver who testified Monday and spoke through an interpreter said he had his eyes on the road when Jonathan and Grace argued in the back seat of his Escalade in March, telling jurors he “had the feeling “The girl would have hit the boy.” … because of the way she fought and the sounds she made.”

The driver also testified that Grace asked to see Jonathan's phone and said, “The girl got very angry.” The driver also said, “He didn't do anything, she did it” and that Jonathan “tried to get rid of Grace.”

It's an interesting twist in the process…last week, Text messages between Jonathan and Grace were read out in court, including an exchange in September 2022 in which they apparently referred to some sort of altercation in London.

In the text messages, Jonathan wrote, “They will ask you questions and since I don't believe you are truly protecting us, even if you lie and they suspect something, it could lead to an investigation.”

Jabbari then replied: “I will tell the doctor I hit my head when I leave. I'll wait another day but I can't sleep and need stronger painkillers. That's all: Why should I tell them what really happened when it's clear that I want to be with you.

The car service driver also testified that Jonathan and Grace once left his car while they were arguing outside on a Manhattan street corner… and that Majors “pushed them back into the car to get rid of them.”

Jonathan's legal team asked the driver if he found blood in the car and he testified that he did not.
