Presenter Angélica referred to the legalization of abortion during her participation in Roda Viva this Monday. According to the artist, women should have the power to decide what they want to do with their bodies and the discussion should not be mixed with other topics.
“I support women having choices about their bodies. It’s up to them to decide,” Angélica said on the show. She later praised the debate on the issue: “It is a decision that women have to make.”
“We see the number of girls dropping out due to extreme situations, including rape,” he further explained. “We don’t have to mix topics, we have to deal with the topic in a practical way.”
Angélica gives her first interview to Roda Viva to promote her new program “Globo, 50 & Tanto”, in which she celebrates five decades of her life and discusses controversial topics.
