Over the weekend, CNN reported that there were at least six deaths and over 50 injuries as a result of the devastating tornadoes.

More than 35,000 Tennesseans were reportedly affected by power outages and buildings suffered structural damage from the storm.

The Pennsylvania native donated to the same organization back in March 2020 when tornadoes struck the state she considers home.

At the time, she shared a post on her Instagram story with a link for others to contribute.

“Nashville is my home and the fact that so many people in Middle Tennessee have lost their homes and more is devastating to me,” she said.

As a teenager, Swift attended Hendersonville High School in Sumner County.

Although she spends most of her time on the East Coast, she still lives and has offices in Nashville.

Her extensive real estate portfolio includes a luxury penthouse condo that she purchased in 2009, and her former boyfriend Matty Healy was spotted leaving in May.

She also owns a $2.5 million four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion that she purchased for her parents in 2011.

During her tour, she notably donated to food banks in every American city she played in.

For one, her contribution to the Arizona Food Bank Network enabled the organization to deliver 40,000 pounds of fresh produce to its food banks.

Silicon Valley Food Bank's Second Harvest also said it donated enough money during its tour stop in Santa Clara, California, “to feed an average of approximately 500,000 people in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties each month.”

After completing the first leg of her record-breaking tour in August, she gave her on-tour crew, including dancers, truck drivers, sound engineers and catering staff, $55 million in bonuses.
