It's starting to get scary what our sports betting expert David Beaudoin predicts. Frightening because he is often right, even if it doesn't always seem logical on a purely sporting level.
As sports experts, we sometimes wonder where he is going with certain decisions.
We also ask ourselves: How can a math teacher tell me which team to bet on?
And there are several explanations using several mathematical concepts or strategies that he has developed over the years.
And finally… he was right.
In two weeks he was already able to predict the following:
- The poor Bills will win or lose against the mighty Eagles by a margin of three points or less. The Bills lost by three points.
- The Steelers beat the Bengals.
- He warned against underestimating the Sharks compared to the Canucks. The Sharks won.
- He suggested betting on the 49ers vs. the Eagles. The 49ers humiliated the Eagles…in Philadelphia.
- He predicted the Islanders would beat the Kings, who had won 11 road games in a row. The Islanders won.
- He believed the Jets would beat Houston last Sunday, even though the Jets had averaged 9.7 points in their last six games. The Jets won, scoring 30 points.
These are just some examples. Yes, he was wrong too. But with 21 bets, some of them very daring, his success rate is 57%.
Obviously it's just a game. David Beaudoin often reminds us: It's important to only invest money in sports betting that you can afford to lose.
Although he has been successful with his predictions for 24 years, he points out that he can experience difficult periods that can last for weeks.
