In mid-November, TVA Group announced that QUB Radio, Quebecor's web radio launched five years ago, would also be offered in a television version by allowing cameras into its studios. At the same time, the new specialized information station QUB Radio will replace the specialized youth station Yoopa, which is being discontinued almost 14 years after its launch.

“With increasing competition from foreign platforms in youth content, TVA Group has had to reposition its television offering and focus on information and public affairs, which are at the core of its mission,” it said in a press release.

Yoopa launched in April 2010 and offers children educational and entertaining content until January 10th.
