Line Of Duty star Vicky McClure has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire [MBE] of King Charles III. at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old actress received the award, which recognizes services to theater and charity.
She wore an elegant black suit, cinched in at the waist for the occasion, as well as a hat.
But she made a rather edgy fashion statement with knee-high leather boots with a pointed metal heel.
She wore a lively smile on her face as the king said a few words to her before pinning the award to her jacket.

Vicky, who played Detective Inspector Kate Fleming in Line Of Duty, is soon to star in the second series of the TV series Trigger Point.
In the crime series, Vicky plays former military bomb disposal expert Lana Washington, an Afghan war veteran who now heads the Metropolitan Police bomb squad.
In Season 2, Lana and her officers will face off against a terrorist group targeting London, leaving them clues to find as they prepare for an attack in various locations.
It's been a great year for Vicky and in August she tied the knot with her fiancé Jonny Owen in Nottingham.
Vicky and Johnny, 54, were serenaded by the Dementia Choir, a singing group made up of people with dementia which she helped fund.
The newlyweds were joined by a number of celebrity guests on their romantic big day, including their Line of Duty co-stars Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Craig Parkinson.
Football manager Rob Page, Everton manager Sean Dyche and television presenter Paddy McGuinness were also in attendance.
