The president of the Ministry of Finance, Sonia Lebel, also mentioned that the negotiations would enter a “crucial” phase that would allow an agreement to be reached between the Quebec government and the FAE.

Despite these more fruitful discussions, the FAE says it wants to “remain cautious” and would rather “judge the tree by its fruit”.
