Harry Styles has been criticized for selling an “overpriced” scent-inspired candle collection.
The 29-year-old singer founded his lifestyle brand Pleasing in 2021, initially selling a line of perfumes before branching out into nail polish and clothing.
But after Harry announced the brand's latest collection – candles in jars – this week, he was met with backlash from fans who branded the £80 gifts a “money grab”.
The scented candles are available in three different versions, inspired by the brand's perfume range.
The Bright, Hot Candle comes in an orange glass jar modeled after the perfume of the same name, worth £135.00.

A fan shared his thoughts online and wrote down
“I love Harry Styles, but my opinion is that Pleasing is not a well thought out or executed brand at all and it feels like a money grab.”
“Harry Styles baby I love you but I don't pay $80 for a candle,” another shared.

The vegan candles are made from soy wax and the packaging is also environmentally friendly – with 100% compostable paper materials and soy and water-based inks.
The range can be purchased online on the Pleasing website.
The brand recently began selling its range in Selfridges across the UK, as well as stores in New York City and Los Angeles.

In August, it was revealed that Harry would be following in Gwyneth Paltrow's footsteps and preparing to launch his own “sex-themed” perfume.
Following the announcement of the appointment, Harry said of Sean: “His exceptional vision and extensive experience will be invaluable as we embark on the next chapter of Pleasing.”
In April, the brand released its latest nail polish and clothing collection, Pollinator, inspired by the local wildlife in Harry's North London neighborhood.
