According to our information, Red Devils motorcycle club members Ian Roy, 29, and Jonathan Bergeron-Gosselin, 32, were attacked with homemade pickaxes on October 27 at the Quebec detention center.
“They were attacked in a very serious way. They were covered in blood,” explains a source.

This attack allegedly occurred in the evening in a common area of the prison facility, barely three days after Roy and Bergeron-Gosselin arrived at the prison.
In fact, the duo was arrested on October 24 after a brawl in late September at a strip bar in Lévis in which a shot was fired.

During searches on the sidelines of the affair, the police were able to confiscate, among other things, a loaded semi-automatic pistol and three Red Devils jackets.
Attacker from Montreal
According to our sources, these Red Devils members were allegedly beaten by an inmate and a defendant, both in their 20s and from Montreal.
One of the alleged attackers is currently awaiting trial in connection with a double murder in Longueuil. He would also face kidnapping and assault charges stemming from an altercation in late 2022 at the Rivière-des-Prairies prison, where he was incarcerated at the time.
After this attack, he was transferred to Orsainville Prison in Quebec.
Related to “Pic” Turmel
According to several informants, these alleged attackers are linked to Dave “Pic” Turmel, head of the Blood Mafia Family (BMF), known to police as the street gang of “red” loyalty and very active in the drug trade on the south coast of Quebec.
Its members have close ties to those of the Montreal gang Profits Boys, which the authorities identify as being primarily responsible for the outbreak of armed violence in the northeast of the metropolis since 2019.
The ongoing conflict between street gangs and the Hells Angels in Quebec is believed to be the cause of several violent events in recent months. Remember that the former is now refusing to pay their 10% tax to the latter.
Note that no charges are currently being filed against the two suspects in connection with the attack on the two Red Devils members in prison.
Dave “Pic” Turmel is still on the run and has an arrest warrant for drug trafficking.
