The special will air on December 24th at 5pm and will celebrate the careers of the two comedians and long-time friends, from Paul and Paul to Ding and Dong. This will be their first interview together in more than twenty years.

Suffering from severe depression, Serge Thériault had withdrawn from public life in recent years. The 2021 documentary Outside Serge Outside portrayed an isolated and reclusive actor who systematically refused to leave his home.

At the beginning of the fall, he made a moving return to the cameras by putting on Môman's nightcap while filming the final scene of the last of six new episodes of La petite vie, shown on Tou.tv.

For two hours, various guests will take turns at the microphone and share their memories of the duo, including Michel Rivard, Michel Barrette, Guylaine Tremblay, Marc Messier and Yvon Deschamps. The show concludes with new performances by tenor Marc Hervieux and impersonator André-Philippe Gagnon.

A repeat of the show will air on December 25th at 11am.
