Explosions were heard in central Kiev early Wednesday, an AFP journalist reported. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital described an “enemy attack” in which seven people were injured.

“According to the rescuers, seven people (…) were injured as a result of the enemy attack on Kiev. Five were hospitalized in health facilities in the capital,” Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on social networks.
