For the grand finale, Cyril Lignac had prepared a unique challenge for the candidates: Prepare a Christmas log at least one meter long. For this occasion, the already eliminated amateur pastry chefs visited the three finalists to help (or hinder) them, but also to taste their creations together with Cyril and Mercotte. The three candidates made very nice presentations: Fanny had made an apricot nougat piece, Julia with chestnut mousse and citrus fruits, while Thibaut had suggested two flavors, a summer version with peach and verbena, another winter version with apple and kiwi. The jury could not decide between the candidates and did not award a top grade.
The three finalists had to compete in the second round Create a 100% edible Christmas village with the help of a former candidate. Fanny, supported by Ninon for an hour, presented an enchanted forest with a licorice trunk, which Cyril Lignac particularly appreciated. Thibaut, with Emily's help, suggested a Christmas by the fire. Cyril and Mercotte fell in love with one of the creations, a little man made of sweet chocolate and citrus. Finally, Julia represented a ski Christmas and surprised the jury with the flavors blackcurrant, chestnut, mango, passion fruit and kumquat.
