Gospel singer dies after falling ill on stage during a concert
Gospel singer Pedro Henrique, 30, died from an illness while performing at a church service in the town of Feira de Santana, 100 km from Salvador, on Wednesday evening (13).
The video above shows powerful images of the moment the artist fell backwards onto the stage while singing.
According to the Integrated Communications Center (Cicom) of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) of Feira de Santana, the victim traveled from São Paulo to perform at a private religious party. He was singing at the venue in the Ipê district when he fell ill while performing on stage.
Friends from the band's production team rescued him and took him to a polyclinic near the venue, but the victim did not survive. Military police officers attended the scene and contacted the Technical Police Department (DPT).
Pedro Henrique lived in Rio de Janeiro, was married and had a onemonthold son.

The record label Todah Music, for which Pedro Henrique worked, confirmed the artist's death on social media.
“Pedro was a happy young man, a friend to everyone. An only son. A current husband and an extremely involved father. There is no pastor or Christian in Brazil who says otherwise: Pedro is simple, he is a believer.” ! What a smile! How friendly! What a voice! “It’s great to have people around!” he said in the statement.
Todah Music also mourned the loss of the singer and expressed condolences to his wife Suillan Barreto, family and friends.
“Our deepest condolences, respect, unconditional support to Suillan and all family members and friends in all areas where we can help and our sincere embrace!”

With 868,000 followers on Instagram, Pedro Henrique posted photos and videos of his lectures, concert calendar and travel moments with his wife Suillan Barreto.
The recordings include leisure moments in Campos do Jordão, Jerusalem and Dubai. The birth of his son just over a month ago was also celebrated by Pedro, who described the child as the “most beautiful sheep”.
