She may have had “4 minutes” to save the world, but it took her three hours to prepare for a concert.

Madonna angered her loyal fans on Wednesday night when she kicked off her Celebration Tour three hours later than planned.

The “Material Girl” singer, who kicked off her series of U.S. performances at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, didn't take the stage until 11 p.m

With nothing but time to twiddle their thumbs, fans took to social media to complain about Madonna's late start.

“I don’t care if you’re Madonna,” one follower tweeted. “If you’re 3 hours late, you’re just fucking rude.”

“The concert was supposed to start at 8:30 a.m. Madonna started at 11 p.m. The whole arena chanted bullshit because of her lateness. Great show but way too late,” noted another, adding that DJ Honey Dijon opened the show with “boring house music.”

“2:30 hours late. “I WANT A REFUND NOW,” demanded another.

“I love Madonna but it's really crazy that she's literally two hours late to her FIRST show in the US,” tweeted another.

A source close to Madge told Page Six on Thursday morning that there were technical issues during sound check that resulted in her being just an hour late, as Honey Dijon was scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m

Representatives for Madonna did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.

However, the Queen of Pop's performance received such rave reviews when it finally began that some fans said Madonna was worth the wait.

“She was AMAZING tonight – late but made up for it!” tweeted one defender.

“Madonna showed up at Barclays tonight,” another added. “Damn late, but she did it.”

The “Vogue” singer, 65, kicked off the European tour earlier this year after a harrowing health scare that left her intubated in intensive care.

Her team said her hospitalization was due to a bacterial infection, but Madonna herself later said she was grateful to simply be alive while celebrating her birthday in August.

She also praised her children for making “the big difference” in her recovery.
