A reality TV show that was set to star Sean “Diddy” Combs and his family has been canceled amid multiple sexual assault allegations against him.
According to Rolling Stone, who confirmed the news, the project, called Diddy+7, was produced by James Corden's production company Fulwell 73 for Hulu. The show was still in its early stages, but according to a source close to the show, Diddy and his family were spotted with film crews in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year.
The rapper has seven children with four different women: Quincy, 32, Justin, 29, Christian, 25, Chance, 17, twins D'Lila and Jessie, 16, and Love Sean, one. On November 16, he was sued by Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, his ex-girlfriend, for alleged rape, sex trafficking and domestic violence. The next day, the two parties reached an amicable agreement.
Five days later, P. Diddy and Harve Pierre, the former president of his company Bad Boy Entertainment, were charged with gang rape and human trafficking of an unnamed woman in 2003.
Last week, the rapper dismissed these “disgusting accusations” on social media, which he said “came from people looking for a quick profit.” “To be clear: I did not do any of the terrible things I was accused of. I will fight for my name, my family and the truth,” P. Diddy wrote on Instagram.
