Shannen Doherty didn't appreciate the rise of her ex-husband's so-called friends.

While the actress revealed on her podcast “Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty” earlier this month that her ex-husband had an extramarital affair for two years while she battled a cancer relapse and brain tumor surgery, he denied it Photographer Kurt Iswarienko and “sources” close to him defended him by speaking to the press. “An absolute lie,” said Shannen Doherty.
“Let me be clear: the truth matters,” she began. The story supposedly comes from my husband's (soon to be ex) friends who supposedly told me two years ago that he was cheating on me and we had an open marriage. This is an absolute lie and I will talk about the marriage and the affair in more detail on @letsbeclearpod,” she explains.
Neither a free relationship for the former Beverly Hills 90210 actress, nor a breakup two years before brain surgery, sources told TMZ.
Shannen Doherty also attacks the media: “In the meantime… @tmz_tv please do more due diligence and to the “friends” who tried to spread this story: I understand that you are afraid of the truth, but try to avoid them.” Lying will get you nowhere. #thetruthmatters,” she wrote in her post.
Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko married in 2011. She filed for divorce in April of this year, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Shannen Doherty, 52, is currently being treated for breast cancer that has spread to her brain and bones.
