A Russian oligarch whose ex-wife was spotted snogging Tom Cruise has warned the Mission Impossible star to be prepared to “keep his wallet wide open” because she has “expensive and luxurious taste” .
Cruise, 61, was spotted getting cozy with socialite Elsina Khayrova, 36, at a party in London's Mayfair on Saturday – friends said the Hollywood star was “infatuated” with her and the two were ” inseparable”.
But Ms Khayrova's ex-husband Dmitry Tsetkov warned Cruise that his new love was hard to please – claiming he spent a staggering £10million on clothes and a further £2million on handbags during their turbulent 11-year marriage.
Speaking exclusively to Web from his £27million mansion in Surrey, tycoon Mr Tsetkov said: 'No matter who she is with, whether Tom Cruise or anyone else, they should be aware that they have the finer things in them “Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open.”
But he added: “I’m happy for her and wish her all the best.”
Mr Tsetkov, 43, who made his fortune in diamonds and mining, claims his bitter three-year divorce battle has cost him £150 million.

Mr Tsetkov, 43, who made his fortune in diamonds and mining, claims his bitter three-year divorce battle has cost him £150 million
He says he has seen his fortune dwindle from £200 million while he was with his wife to just £50 million as he was forced to sell his assets to pay legal fees or sell them to his wife to hand over.
Ms. Khayrova even received the contents of her elaborate closets, complete with designer labels and handbags, all of which she received as part of the divorce settlement.
Prices for the handbags ranged from £5,000 to £35,000 each, with Ms Khayrova making headlines during her divorce battle after claims she hid them from her ex-husband along with other assets.
Mr. Tsetkov revealed that he has not spoken to Ms. Khayrova about her relationship with Cruise, who also happens to be his favorite actor.
He said: “I haven't spoken to Elsina about this because our preferred method of communication is our lawyers.” She is 36, she is beautiful, financially independent and loves life.
“Tom Cruise is my favorite actor, he's one of the best I've ever seen.” I've seen a lot of his films. “I first heard about him when I was 13, when my English teacher came back from the US and told us she lived next door to him.”
Ironically, Mr. Tsetkov, who is on the Kremlin's wanted list, revealed that just three months ago he was in talks with a Hollywood producer interested in making a film about his life, and he insisted that he just wanted Cruise to play him.
He said: “I told the producer that the only actor who could play me is Tom Cruise. “We are about the same height and weight and I would be honored if that could happen. I couldn't think of anyone who could play me better than Tom. “I hope to meet him one day to discuss this project.”
Mr. Tsetkov revealed that his favorite Tom Cruise film was “Eyes Wide Shut,” which he had seen about 30 times. In it, the Hollywood star plays a doctor whose life spirals out of control when he becomes obsessed with a sexual encounter.

Cruise starred in the 2010 hit alongside Nicole Kidman, to whom he was married at the time.
Mr Tsetkov said: “I also love Rainman and The Firm and know a lot of the dialogue in them by heart.” But Elsina didn't know about any of those films because she was never a big fan of Tom Cruise. I'm sure everything has changed now.'
Ms Khayrova and Cruise were spotted together at a party in Grosvenor Square over the weekend, much to the surprise and excitement of other guests.
Wearing a strapless black dress with a diamond-encrusted bow, she posed for photos with former Miss Europe contestant Aliena Avramenko before hitting the dance floor with her Top Gun star Plus-One. Cruise and Ms. Khayrova reportedly left the event together in the early hours of the morning.
One guest claimed: “They were inseparable, clearly a couple. “He seemed besotted with her.”
The tycoon Mr Tsetkov met his future wife in April 2009 at an exclusive bar in London's Mayfair and, after a whirlwind romance, married in September that year at the National Congress Palace in St Petersburg, which Vladimir Putin was using as a residence at the time he is in the city.
They enjoyed a lavish jet-set lifestyle, owning properties in Dubai, London and Cyprus, spending time on luxury yachts and enjoying luxury holidays, whilst owning a car, jewelery and an art collection worth millions of pounds.
The businessman bought the marital home on the exclusive Wentworth estate in Surrey in 2020 as a weekend getaway from the £18 million London home he shared with his former wife and their two children before their split.
Unlike her, he said he hasn't met anyone and spends most of his day playing polo, golf, tennis and going shooting.
He emphasized: “I feel and look ten years younger and have never felt better.” Life is great at the moment. Who says divorce is bad for you, no matter how much it costs?
