He plans to continue playing even after winning $68 million in the 6/49 Lotto

Noel Patricio, a Toronto resident, scored a stunning 6/49 LOTTO win by winning the September 27 Golden Ball draw. The incredible sum of $68 million has changed his life, but unlike some, Noel has no plans to stop working.

As he accepted his big win at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto, Noel, who works in housekeeping, shared his excitement.

“I love my work and the people I work with, and that’s what makes both jobs so important to me. I want to stay the same at Christmas,” explained the lucky winner.

Mr Patricio, who regularly plays LOTTO 6/49, bought the winning ticket during a break at work. When he heard about the record-breaking $68 million winning ticket in Toronto, he remembered the ticket in his pocket.

At first, Noel thought he had won $68,000, but when he called his sister, the two realized how big his winnings were: $68,000,000.

He took his time before claiming his prize and hid his new millionaire status from many.

“When my colleagues talked about the winning ticket sold in Toronto, I remained silent. It was too unbelievable to say, 'That's me!'” he explained.

Determined to remain true to himself, Mr. Patricio still plans to enjoy his new wealth. He plans to renovate his current home, take a dream vacation to Italy with his sister and make his wildest sporting dreams come true.

“I arrived in Canada with a suitcase and a few dollars. It's incredible that I'm here as the winner of the Boule d'Or jackpot! I’m ready to be excited and live an exciting life,” he concluded.
