The husband of a mother of two who killed herself by jumping from the roof of her luxury New York home on Thursday has told of his devastation over her death.

Alina Page, 35, was left shaken after an argument with her husband over her drinking, exclusively revealed on Saturday.

According to sources, she fell from the roof of the 36th floor of their Upper East Side high-rise apartment on Thursday evening after a disagreement with her husband, orthopedic surgeon Brian Page.

On Saturday he said he was not home at the time but did not deny the argument.

“She was the love of my life, my soulmate,” he told the New York Post. 'I am devastated.'

The building, The Brittany, has a rooftop terrace – sources confirm to that Page is believed to have jumped from the highest point.

An NYPD spokesman told Page that the injuries were “due to a fall” and that there were no signs of criminality in the death, but the investigation is ongoing.

Initial reports of the incident described the mother-of-two as “clinging to life” after she was found on the sidewalk of her upscale neighborhood.

Police confirmed her injuries were the result of a fall from an “elevated height.”

She was taken to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell but was pronounced dead after succumbing to her injuries.

The young mother moved to the Big Apple from Temple, Texas in 2021 with her husband and two children.

The family appeared to be living a life of luxury, sources claim. Page fled the couple's $7,500-a-month apartment after the argument with her husband.

Page, who is originally from Russia, married Brian in 2007 and regularly posted about her love for her new home in New York and shared sweet snaps of her beaming family.

The young mother's social media is full of smiling family photos with Brian and their two children, including a Halloween scavenger hunt they prepared to welcome their children to the new city in 2021.

According to The Brittany's website, the building features a “gorgeously landscaped entrance with 24-hour doorman, landscaped gardens with sparkling fountain, elegant two-story lobby, landscaped rooftop terrace with mesmerizing panoramic river and city views.”

The elegant apartment building also features a 7,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness club, a 55-foot indoor pool, and men's and women's saunas.
