Matthew Perry's autopsy report revealed a darker look at the star's final days.

The report, obtained by Page Six on Friday, revealed that a friend of the actor said he was “angry and mean” about taking testosterone shots in the weeks before his death.

The revealing report found that Perry had taken tammoxifen for weight loss, anti-diabetic drugs and nicotine lollipops, in addition to a lethal amount of ketamine mixed with the opioid-like drug buprenorphine, which relieves pain and helps with opioid addiction.

Before his death he tried to quit smoking. His live-in assistant said he smoked about two packs of cigarettes a day.

The coroner's report also highlighted Perry's reliance on prescription and over-the-counter medications to maintain his quality of life.

“In the assistant's bedroom were several open, empty, half-filled medication bottles that had been prescribed to the deceased, as well as over-the-counter medications, vitamins, digestive aids and bowls filled with several assorted loose pills, tablets, capsules, candies and mints,” it said it in the report.

In Perry's bathroom there were “prescribed ointments, digestives and mouthwashes.”

The “Friends” star had been receiving regular ketamine infusions before his death, but the report suggested that the ketamine found in his body came from somewhere else.

His last infusion was a week and a half before his death and the half-life is only three to four hours.

“It is more likely that this was recreational use of ketamine,” said Dr. Bankole Johnson, one of the world's top neuroscientists and doctors, told Page Six exclusively on Friday.

“It would be questionable medicine to give ketamine to someone who is also taking buprenorphine – a true recipe for disaster.”

Perry had previously written about his aversion to ketamine in his 2022 memoir “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir,” saying that during the treatments he received while in a Swiss rehab, often had the feeling of “dying”. the pandemic.

“Taking K is like getting hit in the head with a giant lucky shovel. But the hangover was harsh and outweighed the scoop,” he wrote.

“Ketamine wasn’t for me.”

In fact, Perry should have stopped his infusions before his death because his anesthesiologist, Dr. Ataoin (whose name was partially redacted in the autopsy report) said he no longer needed the treatments because “his depression was fine.”

Additionally, the unnamed woman the coroner spoke to said the beloved actor was even in a “good mood” during their last conversation, which took place days before his death.

This corroborates the story of Jennifer Aniston, who said she spoke to Perry on the morning of October 28, hours before his assistant found him face down in the pool of his $4 million Hollywood mansion.

“He had stopped smoking. He got into shape. He was happy – that’s all I know,” she told Variety after his death.

“I literally texted him that morning, funny Matty.”

“He wasn't in any pain. He had no problems. He was happy.”

Perry, who revealed in 2022 that he had spent around $9 million throughout his life trying to stay sober, wanted to be remembered not as Chandler Bing, his iconic character from “Friends,” but as someone who who helped people overcome their addiction.

“The best thing about me is when someone comes to me and says, 'I can't stop drinking, can you help me?' “I can say yes and follow up and do it,” he proudly explained on the “Q with Tom Power” podcast in 2022.

He founded the Perry House in 2013 to help people stay sober and planned to start a foundation before his death.

The Matthew Perry Foundation was founded in his honor a few days after his death.
