Line Change is a brand founded by Angela Price and Julie Petry, wife of Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jeff Petry. The two ladies started their clothing line while their husbands were playing for the Montreal Canadiens.

The company designed outfits and hats for the league's six teams, which will begin operations in January.

“The partnership between LPHF and Line Change represents much more than the union of two women-focused companies,” said Amy Scheer, senior vice president of business operations at LPHF, in a statement.

“It’s not just about hockey or clothing. This is a moment when women in sport are being recognized more than ever before. Both on the ice and through clothing, it sends a strong message to women around the world. They have their place.”

“Both of our organizations were born out of a need to give women more options, options that didn’t exist before but were still within reach,” added Angela Price.

The Montreal team will play its first game in the LPHF on January 2nd in Ottawa. His home debut is scheduled for Jan. 13 against Boston at Verdun Auditorium.
