The search for a missing medical assistant has taken a dramatic turn with the arrest of NBA G League star Chance Comanche on first-degree kidnapping charges.

Marayna Rogers, 23, disappeared from her home in Washington state on December 6 during a visit to Las Vegas.

She was last seen getting into a car with her friend Sakari Harnden, 19, who was also arrested on kidnapping charges on December 13.

Harnden was accused of “detaining Rogers against her will and without her consent with the intent to kill and/or inflict bodily harm on her.”

Comanche, 27, was arrested by the FBI on Friday and booked into the Sacramento County Jail on the same charge.

Comanche went undrafted out of the University of Arizona and appeared in 24 games over the past two seasons for the Stockton Kings, an affiliate of the Sacramento Kings

Stockton Kings center Comanche, who has made 13 appearances this season, was in Portland, Oregon, for the Kings' game against Rip City Remix the day before Rodgers disappeared.

On December 12, he was back in California and played in Stockton's home loss to Salt Lake City.

A friend of Rogers', who started a GoFundMe appeal to fund private investigators to help with the search, said she was taking an Uber to Summerlin on the city's west side when she disappeared.

“She never made it to Summerlin and was discovered missing the next morning when neither her boyfriend nor close friends had heard from her,” Tremaine McAdams wrote.

“Marayna has a boyfriend, family, friends, two dogs and works as a surgical technician at home in Washington,” she added.

“Her location was shared with multiple friends and family members and she was last seen at another location in Las Vegas on December 12 at 2:59 a.m.”

“The last known location is concerning because it is near the highway toward Reno and California.”

“She left her two dogs, her car and all her belongings behind, so it is very unlikely that she disappeared alone.”

“In addition, she had no cash or debit card at the time of her disappearance.”

Comanche went undrafted out of the University of Arizona and appeared in 24 games over the last two seasons with the Kings, who are a development partner of the Sacramento Kings.

The 6-foot-10-inch power forward has played 321 minutes this season, recording 182 points, 15 assists and 91 rebounds.

Harnden is also charged with theft of a Rolex and was booked into the Clark County Jail on $500,000 bond, where she is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on the theft charge and Dec. 28 on the kidnapping charge.

Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Diana Sullivan ordered high-level electrical monitoring if she is released on bail and asked the state to “immediately notify the court if the alleged victim is found alive.”

Comanche was denied bail and is scheduled to appear in Sacramento District Court on Tuesday.

The Stockton Kings released him a few hours after his arrest.
